After my longest blogging hiatus to date,  I’m back. Whew! Its been a marathon since touching down on American soil after six wonderful and full days in Paris, France. I’ve worked nine 13-hour shifts in the 13 days we’ve been home, so I apologize for my lengthy absence (no, I didn’t quit the blog). I’ve thought long and hard about how to share my Parisian travels, and I’ve decided the best way to document the fun would be to break up the trip into six posts — one for each of the lovely days we were in the City of Lights. So, let’s do this! After a lengthy journey — including a three-hour early-morning drive to the airport (plus the pre-flight to airline-gate rigamarole that follows), a five-hour flight from Las Vegas to Montreal (followed by a two-hour layover), and then a five-hour flight to Paris — we arrived at 9 am.
